I’m a Boston-based disability rights advocate, a Black disabled woman, mother, author, consultant, speaker born with a form of muscular dystrophy, use mobility aids, have a B.S. in Mass Communications. I’ve been involved with advocacy work for 20 years and serve on many disability-related boards and projects, speaking, writing, and consulting using an intersectional lens perspective where disability meets parenting, media representation, employment, healthcare, arts orgs, etc. My advocacy efforts and areas of focus are reflected on my site SlowWalkersSeeMore.com where insight is shared from my experience.
