Christopher Robinson is an ASL/English Interpreter with 30+ years of experience. Since 2005, he has served as Coordinator of Outreach & Training at Disability & Access Services of Boston University. He has practiced Performing Arts ASL/English Interpretation since 1994. He’s also a stage and TV actor, mentor, public speaker, and national presenter. His expertise includes inclusion in performing arts, interpreter mentorship, and cross-cultural mediation. He completed the Conference Interpreter Mentorship Program (CIMP) of Northeastern University in 2003, then led it until 2006. He trained facilitators for Gallaudet University and advised St. Catherine University’s “Graduation to Certification” program. He is a Certified Facilitator in LEGO® Serious Play™ methodology in Positive Psychology for improving student engagement. His expertise is recognized in Bradbury & Head, Staging Deaf and Hearing Theatre Productions and Carrie Preston’s Complicit Participation The Liberal Audience for Theater of Racial Justice.
