Alexander, the Senior Strategist of Accessibility & Inclusion at Woodland Park Zoo, spearheads initiatives to improve accessibility for guests, staff, and volunteers. With over nine years of professional expertise in both digital and built environments as well as personal experience with disabilities, he offers a unique and insightful perspective. He also serves as co-chair on the Seattle Cultural Accessibility Consortium, is a Fellow at The Institute for Critical Disability Studies and was honored with the Emerging Leader Award by the Kennedy Center in 2024 for his contributions to advancing accessibility and fostering inclusion.
