VPAT (Voluntary Product Accessibility Template)

The Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) is a document used to describe how accessible a digital product or service is in relation to recognized standards, such as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) or Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act. The VPAT provides detailed information about the product’s compliance with accessibility criteria, helping organizations assess whether the product meets the needs of users with disabilities. It is commonly used in procurement processes to evaluate and compare the accessibility of digital products.
