Tactile materials provide a tactile experience that can enhance accessibility in education, events and programming for people who are blind or have low vision, or are tactile learners. Some examples are braille text, tactile maps, tactile representations of artworks, visual exhibit/display materials, tools and materials, 3-D printed and other replicas.
