Tactile communication is a method of conveying and receiving information through touch. Tactile communication can include a variety of strategies such as haptic feedback, hand-under-hand support, ProTactile, hand tracking or tactile sign languages like Tactile ASL. These approaches are not interchangeable and should be tailored to the communication preferences and needs of each person.
