Tactile American Sign Language (Tactile ASL)

Tactile American Sign Language (Tactile ASL) is a form of American Sign Language (ASL) used by individuals who are DeafBlind, where the receiver places their hands on the signer’s hands to understand the signs through touch. Tactile ASL follows the visual structure and grammar of ASL but is adapted for tactile reception rather than visual observation.
