Pre-Show Experience

A Pre-Show Experience provides audiences with an opportunity to explore and learn about a performance before it begins. It may include a tactile tour, a presentation or talk by a theater representative, or a guided stage tour. Pre-show experiences are often offered at the theater but may also take place off-site as part of outreach or educational programs. These experiences help build familiarity with the performance space, story, and design elements, and are particularly valuable for audiences who are blind, have low vision, or benefit from additional context.
