Pre-Show Audio Describer

A Pre-Show Audio Describer is responsible for preparing and often delivering the pre-show description, which includes information about costumes, scenery, special effects, program notes, cast bios, and the layout of the theater space. The pre-show describer collaborates with the in-show describer to create a cohesive experience and may also serve as a backup to deliver live description of the performance if needed, using the prepared script.
