The International Symbol of Accessibility (ISA) is the widely recognized icon that indicates access for people with disabilities. It features a stylized image of a person using a wheelchair. The ISA is used to mark accessible entrances, parking spaces, restrooms, transportation, and other facilities. According to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), accessible parking spaces must be identified by signs displaying the ISA, mounted at least 60 inches above the ground to ensure visibility . The ADA Standards also require the ISA to identify accessible entrances, toilet rooms, bathing rooms, and other accessible features within facilities.
